With additional "mute rail" (a device that mutes the piano strings) your piano gives you all of the effects of a digital keyboard, and with headphones connected to your computer, you can play without disturbing anyone. This new technology is also a great learning tool, taking advantage of the myriad of educational software for keyboards available today for computers and iPad.
A small descrete electronic device transfers the signals to MIDI and send it to Cubase, Logic, Pro-Tools, Sibelius, Finale, Allegro or whatever you use in your composing work. PNOscan II can be wired via USB directly to a computer or iPad/iPhone. It shows up like a MIDIcontroller in the program and the power is supported through the USB cable. Of course there is also a 5-pin DIN port for use with a a common MIDI cable.
With a StopRail (optional) you can stop the hammers from reaching the strings and in that way use the piano completely silent! Work whenever you want, wherever the instrument is placed.
There is no force needed when you mount PNOscan II and the installment is absolutely invicible! And you can do it yourself..!! Or, if you want, you can get one of our recommended piano technichians to do it for you. (At the present time only in areas around Stockholm, Orebro and Gothenburg.)
